Photoshop For Photographers: Basic Class
Next Class Starts Tuesday, June 3, 2008
Learn basic techniques of Photoshop and Elements.
You will learn how to optimize your images as well as to incorporate creative techniques. Learn layers, color balance, cropping, cloning, etc. Exercises include changing color images to black & white images, preparing images for winning prints, and creating montages to show your collections of images.
Class starts Tuesday, June 3, 2008 for 6 sessions and will be from 7 PM to 9 PM at Location: Creve Coeur Government Center, Meeting Room 1.

Next Class Starts Thursday, April 10, 2008 For 6 Weeks
Advanced Class
Advanced Photoshop students must have taken the Basic Course.
Class will focus on learning advanced techniques of layer masking, layer mixing, slection and a variety of creative techniques. Students are encouraged to bring in images they have worked on for critiquing and suggestions.
Class starts Thursday, April 10, 2008 for 6 sessions and will be from 7 PM to 9 PM at Creve Coeur Government Center, Meeting Room 1.

Improve your photography skills, take better pictures, become more creative. Learn simple techniques to enhance family, vacation and nature images.
Students must have a digital or film camera.
Class starts Wednesday, June 4, 2008 for 6 sessions and will be from 7 PM to 9 PM at Creve Coeur Government Center, Meeting Room 1.
There will not be a class on Wednesday, July 2: Field Trips over the July 4th weekend to be scheduled in place of July 2 class.

This class is for both beginner and advanced photographers.
Enhance your photography skills. Students will learn to apply composition, lighting, shutter speed, and depth of field when photographing images.

Night and Low Light Photography Class
Class Starts Monday, June 9, 2008 For 5 Weeks.
Night and Low Light Photography
Learn how to use your camera in low light situations when you cannot trust your meter.
Learn what equipment you need including filters and film and white balance settings.
Learn creative techniques of panning, zooming, etc. and how to capture holiday lights and night cityscapes.
Classes on June 16 and June 30 will be field sessions, places to be arranged.

Creating Photography Shows
Next Class Starting Date To Be Announced
Learn how to organize and select images to create a show of your favorite trip or subject. Students will be encouraged to put together short and long shows or programs for competition, freinds, and family.
