He began experimenting with infrared post-processing techniques and, recognizing the challenges involved, eventually writing about the topic for the popular website, photographylife.com. Bob also focuses on photographing and writing about the artistic and cultural aspects of our nation’s cemeteries on his blog, cemeteryart.net.  Using infrared filters, we are able to capture a form of light beyond the limitations of our eyes. The world as seen in infrared light looks far different than the one we are accustomed to. The make-up of materials determines their color. For instance, a black suit or dress may appear white or light blue. Green grass, leaves, and other vegetation can appear white, yellow, orange, or red. Dark sunglasses and certain clothing can appear transparent. A summer landscape photo is often confused as being that of a winter wonderland.     During this presentation, Bob will:   Provide the history of infrared light, film, and digital photography  Explore the options for capturing infrared light with your camera  Discuss the various filter options available  Cover the opportunities and challenges of infrared post-processing  Showcase the broad range of creative options infrared photography offers  Bob will also offer a 2 hour workshop on Infrared Photography that goes more in depth of taking IR pictures and post-processing. This workshop will be held on February 5th from 10am to 12pm and is free for all Camera Club members. We will be asking
